South Bristol Bathroom/Closet Renovation:

January 2010Bath design by Lori LaRochelle

Lori recently helped us out with a master bath remodel.  I approached her with a design problem: how to fit a walk-in closet and the bath addition in the same space.  Once she arrived on the scene, it took her about thirty seconds to say, "oh, this is easy!"  We have used her problem-solving to great effect.  Not only is the closet functional and accessible, but the bathroom is a knockout.

Multi Purpose Room Design
"I am the director of a non-profit who was faced with the challenge of decorating a new construction project for the elderly. Honestly, I had no idea where to begin. I was fortunate to meet Lori LaRochelle and presented her with my challenge of decorating this building on a short time frame and a limited budget.

Lori is a very committed professional and went to great lengths on behalf of my agency to make this happen. I enjoyed working with her and developed a trust in her expertise and recommendations. She researched and designed our project keeping the elderly needs in the forefront and also keeping with the Green Building standards. I had no idea that there is green furniture.

A testimony to her work really comes from the residents who have told everyone how beautifully furnished and comfortable they feel in their new home.

Lori completed this project on time and under budget, I mean what else can be said! It was a real pleasure to work with her."

The Lady's Room Consignment Boutique Project:

April 2008

The Lafy's Room Retail Design

"The consignment boutique was my first venture in owning my own business.  I needed a great deal of help in the design and set up of the store as I had no idea where to put clothing racks and display cases.  I met with Lori and we discussed the ambiance I wanted my customers to feel when they walked into the shop.  Lori immediately got a feel for my vision and proceded to layout the entire space (3 rooms!) to maximize the area, make it pleasing to the eye and easy to navigate.  Lori handled every detail down to the window displays and placing of the mannequins.  Instead of having me buy new things, Lori took advantage of the many knick knacks I had in storage and used them beautifully and artfully to display clothing throughout the store.   A day does not go by without someone commenting how wonderful the store looks.

My store is steadily growing and I still call Lori in to help me with the redesigning and new placement of displays.”
